Kangayam
- Also known as kongu and konganad.
- Originated in Kangayam, Dharapuram, Perundurai, Erode, Bhavani and Coimbatore district.
- Coat is red at birth, but changes to grey at about 6 months of age.
- Bullocks have a good capacity for work and are used for all agricultural operations.
- Transporation capacity of these bullocks is the main source of livelihood of their owners in and around sugar mills in this region.
- Moderate size with compact bodies.
कांगायम
- काँगो आणि कोंगनाड या नावानेसुद्धा ओळखले जाते.
- कांगायम, धारापुरम, पेरुंडुराई, इरोड, भवानी आणि कोईम्बतूर जिल्ह्यात उगम
- त्वचा जन्माच्या वेळी लालसर असते, परंतु वयाच्या ६ महिन्यांपर्यंत राखाडी रंगात बदलते.
- बैलांची काम करण्याची क्षमता चांगली आहे आणि ते शेतीच्या सर्व कामांसाठी वापरले जातात.
- या बैलांची वाहतूक क्षमता हे या प्रदेशातील साखर कारखानदारांच्या मालकांच्या उदरनिर्वाहाचे मुख्य साधन आहे.
